1. Introduction
Welcome to Clean Sheet ("we," "us," or "our"), a local community directory connecting the football community with local services and businesses. By accessing, browsing, or using our website, mobile app, or services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Use.
For clarity throughout this document, the terms "you" and "your" refer to any individual or entity accessing the platform. This includes:

- "Subscribers": Eligible businesses and service providers who register an account to list and advertise their services on the platform.
2. Service Scope & Disclaimer
- Directory Nature: We operate as a platform to display business and service information submitted by third parties. We do not endorse, guarantee, or verify the quality, safety, or legality of any services provided by listed businesses.
- Limitation of Liability: Transactions are strictly between the user and the business. We are not a party to any agreements made between users and listed businesses, and we hold no liability for any disputes, damages, or losses arising from these interactions.

- Data Accuracy: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that register with incomplete, falsified, or inactive contact details.
3.2 Strict Community Eligibility Declaration
- Community Criteria: Clean Sheet is an exclusive directory created solely for the local football community. To be eligible to register, list, or advertise on the platform, you must explicitly declare at registration that you (or the true business owner) fall into at least one of the following verified categories:
- A current player in a local football team

- Violation of Eligibility: If we discover that a listing has falsified this declaration or holds no genuine connection to the local football community, we reserve the right to immediately remove the listing and ban the account.
- Forfeiture of Fees: Listings terminated due to a breach of the Eligibility Declaration are not entitled to a refund for any remaining subscription time or unused trial periods.
3.3 Eligibility Verification & Auditing Rights
- Right to Audit: Clean Sheet reserves the right, but not the obligation, to audit any listing at any time to verify the accuracy of the Eligibility Declaration.
- Club and Federation Contact: By accepting these terms, you grant us express permission to contact your listed football club, committee members, team officials, or the relevant football federation to confirm your active affiliation or role.
- Request for Evidence: If a listing's eligibility is questioned, we may request reasonable proof of your connection to the sport (such as a registration number, club receipt, or confirmation email from a club official).
- Temporary Suspension: Failure to provide satisfactory proof of eligibility within seven (7) business days of a formal request will result in the temporary suspension of your listing and account features.
- Permanent Removal: If non-eligibility is confirmed or if you fail to respond to an audit, the listing will be permanently deleted. No refunds or partial refunds will be issued for any fees paid up to that date.
3.4 Prohibited Conduct
- Platform Misuse: Users and businesses must not use the platform to upload illegal, defamatory, offensive, or fraudulent content. Spamming, scraping data, or using automated bots to extract directory information is strictly prohibited.
3.5 Content Moderation
- Right to Remove: We reserve the right (but have no obligation) to monitor, edit, refuse, or remove any listing, review, or submitted content at our sole discretion without notice if it violates these Terms.
4. Intellectual Property
- Platform Rights: All design, text, graphics, interfaces, logos, and code on Clean Sheet remain our exclusive property or the property of our licensors.
- User Content: By submitting content (e.g., descriptions, images, club details, videos), you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, resize, and distribute that content on our platform for directory and promotional purposes.
5. Paid Listings, Subscription Tiers & Advertising
5.1 Subscription Plans and Tiers
We offer three distinct subscription tiers providing different levels of profile visibility, ad placements, and platform features: The Low Block, The Mid Block, and The High Press. The specific features, inclusions, limits, and current fees for each tier are detailed explicitly on our official Pricing Page. By selecting a tier, you agree to the specific feature boundaries and rates published on that page at the time of your purchase or renewal.
5.2 Subscription Fees and Billing Schedule
- Recurring Billing: Subscription fees are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) depending on your selection at checkout. Prices are inclusive of GST unless otherwise stated on your tax invoice.
- Fee Modifications: We reserve the right to modify subscription fees for any tier. Any price changes will apply no earlier than thirty (30) days following electronic notice to your registered email address.
5.3 Visibility and Media Disclaimers
- Rotational Placement: For The High Press subscribers, home page placement is subject to a rotational queue shared with other top-tier subscribers. Constant 100% visibility is not guaranteed.
- Third-Party Content Delivery: Promotional features like EDM newsletter inclusions, social media shoutouts, and blog spotlight articles are scheduled at our sole editorial discretion. Media content must be provided by the business in accordance with our submission deadlines and quality guidelines.
- No Volume Guarantees: Higher subscription tiers grant better platform placement, but we do not guarantee specific lead volume, clicks, impressions, or sales.
5.4 Third-Party Payment Processing
- Secure Gateway: All financial transactions, billing, and subscription management are processed exclusively through secure third-party payment gateways, such as Stripe.
- No Direct Collection: Clean Sheet does not collect, receive, or store any physical cash, bank transfers, or credit card details personally. All payment info is encrypted and managed directly by the payment processor.
- Payment Failure: If your payment gateway provider rejects a recurring fee (e.g., due to an expired card or insufficient funds), we reserve the right to automatically downgrade or suspend your listing visibility until payment is successfully processed.
5.5 Upgrades, Downgrades, and Cancellations
- Upgrades: Upgrades to a higher tier take effect immediately, and you will be charged a prorated amount for the remainder of the current billing cycle.
- Downgrades and Cancellations: Downgrades or cancellations take effect at the start of your next billing cycle. No partial refunds are issued for unused time within a billing cycle.
6. Privacy
Your use of the platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using our platform, you consent to the collection, storage, and use of your data in accordance with this policy.
7. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on this page. Your continued use of the platform constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
8. Governing Law
These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Australia, Australia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal disputes shall be handled within the jurisdiction of South Australian courts.
